Arsene Wenger plans to play a full-strength side in Thursday’s Europa League clash against Ostersunds.
The Gunners come up against the Swedish side in the first leg of their last-32 tie, reports Football London.
Wenger rested the likes of Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez during the group stages, but with the Gunners out of the FA Cup, the Frenchman plans to field his first-choice side.
“I would have anyway gone for it, especially as we have no game between the two matches,” said Wenger.
“I will play the normal team because it is one of the opportunities we have especially because we don’t play in the FA Cup.
“There is no reason why I should rest players.”
Despite missing two great chances at the weekend to rescue a point against Spurs, Alexandre Lacazette looks set to lead the line in Sweden on Thursday night.
Although he might not be first choice now following Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s arrival at the club, the Gabon international is not allowed to compete in the competition as his former club Borussia Dortmund are in the final 32 of the Europa League.
Fellow new signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan is allowed to play for Arsenal despite representing Manchester United in the Champions League.
