Bronx woman and her neighbor sought for stabbing and shooting man

A wanted Bronx woman and her neighbor were still on the loose a week after a man was stabbed and shot inside the woman’s apartment, police said.

Police on Monday released photos of Melissa Vellon and Tyees Gilmore, both 21, after a 32-year-old man was attacked and left for dead inside Vellon’s West Farms apartment.

The victim, who was taken to St. Barnabas in critical condition, was shot in the shoulder and stabbed in the neck, back and both forearms on Oct. 10, police said.

Cops found him bleeding in a fourth-floor apartment on Bronx Park South near Boston Road.

“The male stabbed and the girl shot me,” the man told officers. He gave a brief description of both, and passed out, police sources said.

Cops found one suspect, Taheen Scott, 25, inside the building.

He’s charged with attempted murder and remains locked up on $25,000 cas bail or $50,000 bond.

Police are still looking for Vellon, who sources said is dating Scott and lives with her uncle in the apartment where the victim was found.

Investigators found a blood trail leading to the apartment and evidence someone used bleach and a mop to clean up after the attack, sources said.

Public records show Gilmore lives in another apartment on the fourth floor.

Cops ask that anyone with information about the pair’s whereabouts call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS. All calls are confidential.
