Many people are battling with issues such as fear of intimacy, rejection, pornography, masturbation, infidelity, sexual fantasies, familiarity, stress due to work pressure, aging, caring for aging parents, raising children and household responsibilities, which may contribute to lack of sex among partners.

Researchers are persuaded that regular sex keeps a marriage strong and fulfilled while lack of it has the potential to destroy any marriage. It is said that a couple living without sex will possibly separate within 12 months.

Doug Brown and his wife had been married for 14 years, between juggling with children and jobs they had sex three times a month and were doing badly so, together with another couple, they decided to investigate whether regular sex can make a difference in relationships.

?They purposed to take time out and work on their relationship by having sex daily. They purchased various resources on how to get fired up and stepped up exercise, took trips and created the romantic ambiance wherever they went.

They chronicled their experiences documented in two books, “Just Do It: How One Couple Turned Off the TV and Turned On Their Sex Lives for 101 Days (No Excuses!)” by Doug Brown and “365 Nights: A Memoir of Intimacy” by Charla Muller with Betsy Thorpe.
