A young Northern Ireland man has been taken to hospital after a “serious crash” near Holywood train station.
Police attended the scene of the “serious crash” involving a car and pedestrian. They have appealed for help in identifying the victim described as being approx 17-18 years old, wearing a light grey coloured hooded tracksuit top, dark grey track bottoms & black Nike trainers.
The A2 was closed in both directions and has since reopened.
