CHELSEA’S players are not producing good enough performances.

That’s according to Blues legend Dennis Wise.

The defending Premier League champions have lost their last two matches – a 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth followed by a 4-1 thrashing at the hands of Watford.

Poor results have led to speculation surrounding Antonio Conte’s future, with rumours surfacing that Roman Abramovich is preparing to replace him with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique.

And while Conte cannot be completely devoid of blame, Wise insists it is the playing squad that are culpable for Chelsea’s demise.

“The main problem is the players,” he told The Debate.

“The performances have been very poor.

“The result last night (Monday) and (N’Golo) Kante and (Eden) Hazard were the only players that could take anything from it.
