Boston United booked a rare appearance in the final qualifying round of the FA Cup by seeing off lower league AFC Mansfield 2-0.

The Pilgrims came through their tricky-looking third qualifying round tie thanks to goals from Jack Broadhead on 13 minutes and Kabongo Tshimanga in added time.

Adam Murray’s side will be joined in Monday’s draw by Gainsborough Trinity , who secured a goal-less draw at National League North rivals Leamington.

The Blues ended the match with 10 men after Jonathan Wafula was sent off.

The replay will be played at the Northolme on Tuesday (7.45pm), by which time both teams will know what is at stake for the victors.

The most dramatic tie win involving our sides saw Boston Town’s stunning run in the competition ended by Hyde United.

The Poachers, the lowest-ranked team left in the competition, led 1-0 and 2-1 but Matt Beadle’s hat-trick, including a late penalty, sent Hyde into Monday’s draw.
