Neymar has told Real Madrid he will only move to the Bernabeu if he is joined by Marquinhos, according to reports.
Barcelona’s ability to sign Ousmane Dembele and most recently Philippe Coutinho for close to £250million this past six months has blown Real Madrid out of the water.
And they are keen to make a huge splash in the summer transfer market to re-establish their place at the top of Spanish football with reports suggesting they could make a move for Neymar.
He only left Barcelona last summer for a world-record fee worth £198million but Real are said to interested in tempting him to come back to La Liga.
However, Spanish outlet Mi Otra Liga claim Neymar will only entertain a move if fellow Brazilian Marquinhos can join him at Real.
The central defender is seemingly looking for a way out of the French capital and is in a position Real are desperate to strengthen.
Barcelona are set for a busy end to the January transfer window with Guillem Balague claiming up to four players could leave the club while one more is still set to join.
Javier Mascherano is expected to leave this month and is close to a deal to move to China and that will open the door for Barcelona to sign Yerry Mina.
But Sky Sports’ Spanish expert Balague insists there is concern over the 23-year-old.
“Yerry Mina, the Colombian centre-back from Palmeiras, is going to cost them about €13m more or less,” Balague told Sky Sports’ Transfer Talk podcast.
“That deal was already agreed in the summer but there’s a lot of doubts about Mina.
“He’s strong and very good in the air but he doesn’t play the ball with the cleverness of a centre-back.”
And Balague went on to claim the likes of Arda Turan, Gerard Deuolofeu and Aleix Vidal are all on the verge of leaving the Nou Camp.
