Manchester United’s star striker fought his way through Saturday’s 4-0 win over Crystal Palace.
And it has since emerged the 24-year-old was carrying a problem.
Lukaku had suffered a blow in training on Friday but persevered against Palace.
He subsequently scored the final goal and played 90 minutes at Old Trafford.
But he missed training with Belgium today and sparked fears he could have a more troubling issue.
Manchester United: Team average – 7.64
“Belgium have now confirmed Lukaku had a scan this afternoon”
However, Belgium have now confirmed Lukaku had a scan this afternoon which revealed no fracture.
Belgian journalist Kristof Terreur also added there is no ligament damage either.
Lukaku will stay on international duty and is not set to return to Manchester for further treatment.
He is on course to follow an individual training regime over the coming days.
Unclear if he will be ready for Bosnia or Cyprus.

Marouane Fellaini (Achilles) also missed training but Belgium boss Roberto Martinez has no concerns, claiming ‘everyone’s fit’.
Jose Mourinho will be relieved the duo are fine and should both be available for United after the break.
Manchester United go to rivals Liverpool on Saturday October 14.
