Michigan State Police say viral Facebook human trafficking video is not accurate

(WEYI/WSMH) — The Michigan State Police out of Detroit took to Twitter reporting the claims of a viral video about human trafficking in a Metro Detroit suburb are not accurate.

“It was investigated by law enforcement and not a case of human trafficking. He was right about being vigilant but that’s about it,” said the State Police on Twitter.

This is the Facebook post where Nick Ahmad claims human trafficking almost happened to his wife and others.

The video has been viewed over 650,000 times and shared close to 30,000 times.

After an investigation the Michigan State Police took to twitter saying the viral Facebook video is not accurate.
