Pakistan vs Sri Lanka, 1st Test, Day 5, live cricket score: SL struggle at 131-8 | cricket

Sri Lanka have lost four wickets in quick succession in the first session of play on day 5 today. Mohammad Abbas bagged two wickets and Yasir Shah took two wickets in two balls to put Sri Lanka in a perilous position. The Lankans have a slender lead but will have to bat well to deny Pakistan victory with more than two sessions left. Pakistan ended day 4 of the first Test in Abu Dhabi in pole position after leg-spinner Yasir Shah took two wickets towards the end of the penultimate day, including that of Dinesh Chandimal, as Sri Lanka struggled to cope with the turning nature of the wicket and ended at 69/4. Earlier, Rangana Herath bowled well to end the Pakistan first innings with figures of 5-93 but some excellent batting from debutant Haris Sohail saw Pakistan post 422 despite the fact that the visitors looked likely to take a first innings lead at one point.
