Police and scenes of crime offices are at an Anglesey hotel after the discovery of a body.
Uniformed officers were seen arriving at the Bull Hotel, Valley, near Holyhead, at about 10.30am this morning.
The officers were later joined at the scene by Scenes of Crimes officers.
North Wales Police said at 2:40pm today that they had been dealing with an “unexpected death”.
They said there were no suspicious circumstances.
Two police vehicles were parked near the popular hotel on Holyhead Road on the A5 for several hours.
Daily Post reporter Gareth Wyn Williams, who was at the scene, said police officers and staff at the hotel said they could not comment when asked about the nature of the incident.
It is understood an ambulance has also attended the scene at some stage this morning.
Locals said they had seen the police at the scene but did not know why they were there.
North Wales Police said in a tweet: “NWP have been dealing with a unexpected death at the Bull Hotel in Valley. No suspicious circumstances, officers liaising with the coroner.”
