“Manchester United, Chelsea, Huddersfield, Manchester City, Tottenham and Watford feature in our 4-1-3-2 formation”

Sky Sports have revealed their latest list of power rankings ahead of the international break – and it tells us which players have been the best so far this campaign.

Every player’s performance is assessed by a complex system which analyses 32 different matchday stats.

Each position on the field is awarded a different number of points for different achievements, and from that a top 50 for the season has been revealed.

We tried putting together the highest ranked players into a realistic formation – meaning that even though Sergio Aguero is third overall he doesn’t make the team as you can’t realistically get three centre-forwards into a starting line-up.

Our formation is a Pep Guardiola-style attacking 4-1-3-2, featuring players from Manchester United, Chelsea, Huddersfield, Manchester City, Tottenham and Watford.
