Alexis Sanchez’s move to Manchester United has seen him rocket up the charts to become the most popular name to have on a football shirt.
Latest figures show that since January 1, more shirts were sold with Alexis’ name and number on than any other Premier League player.
The Chilean has pipped teammate Paul Pogba to the top spot with United shirts bearing his name and number being the second best-sellers.
According to the data released by retailer SportsDirect.com , four of the top 20 shirt names are January signings.
Philippe Coutinho is the sixth most popular name following his move to Barcelona.
Liverpool shirts with Virgil on the back are the 16th most popular while Mkhitaryan Arsenal tops are the 19th most popular buys.
Tottenham shirts with Kane on the back were the third most popular top overall, followed by Mohamed Salah at Liverpool and Eden Hazard at Chelsea.
Six United players make up the Sports Direct top 20 list.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is the 10th most popular name, Romelu Lukaku is 13th on the list, David De Gea is 14th and Marcus Rashford is 18th.
