LIMA — Ottawa-Glandorf’s Mariah Schroeder was fifth at No. 1 singles to lead the Titans’ girls tennis team in Saturday’s Western Buckeye League girls tennis tournament at the University of Northwestern Ohio.
Schroeder topped Celina’s Grace Gabes in her only match of the day to claim the fifth-place spot.
Ottawa-Glandorf’s Lindsey Schneeg as seventh at No. 3 singles while Chelsea Podraski and Addie Schmiedebusch were seventh at No. 1 doubles. Kerri Ellerbrock and Alysha Verhoff also added a seventh-place showing at No. 2 doubles for the Titans.
Ottawa-Glandorf ended up eighth in the final WBL standings. Lima Shawnee captured both the tournament and overall championship.
