NEXT time you’re feeling a little uninspired at work, take a leaf out of this airport worker’s book.
Kyran Ashford, who works for JetStream Ground Services servicing Southwest Airlines at Greater Rochester International Airport in New York, spiced up his typical work day directing aircraft on the tarmac by turning it into a dance.
He was spotted by country singer Terry McBride on a flight last week, who posted a video to Facebook.
“So this just happened out my window as I was leaving New York headed back home to Nashville. This guy rocks!” he said.
The video has now been viewed more than 11 million times and #TarmacDancer has gone viral.
Mr Ashford told the Democrat & Chronicle he was “mind-blown” by the reaction.
“Everything I’ve been doing, that’s all a part of who I am,” he said.
“My mother raised me to be the type of man to walk around with great character, and that people should never be ashamed of who they are.”
