It  always promised to be a busy summer for Arsenal and Unai Emery but after Laurent Koscielny didn’t travel for the Gunners’ pre-season tour it looks like things will be more chaotic than expected.

The transfer window is open and the North London side have secured the signing of Brazilian teenager Gabriel Martinelli already and the appointment of Edu should help in progressing other deals that are in the works.

The north Londoners are in the market for a centre back, a central midfielder and a goalscoring winger, but funds could be restricted due to the club’s failure to qualify for the Champions League.

A second bid has reportedly been made for Celtic’s Kieran Tierney, but it has again been rejected by the Scottish champions.

Wilfried Zaha is also on the agenda, with the Gunners making an initial £40m bid after the Crystal Palace winger made it clear to his club that he wants a move to north London.

The likes of Ryan Fraser and Mario Lemina have also been linked, so we’ll keep you up to date on everything, as well as the latest on Edu’s imminent arrival as the new technical director.
