And they will have to overcome a team that have yet to lose domestically this season.

RB Leipzig boss Rangnick was unable to stop Salzburg in the Europa League either as his team suffered a 3-2 defeat last week.

Now the 60-year-old has warned Celtic that the Austrian side, who reached the Europa League semi-finals last season, are one of the best sides in Europe.

He told Laola1: “For me, Salzburg is one of the best teams in Europe at the moment. Anyone playing them faces a difficult task.

“Last year, they not only beat Borussia Dortmund but also Lazio and some other really good teams on their way to the Europa League semi-finals.”

Salzburg finished top of their Europa League group last season before defeating Real Sociedad, Borussia Dortmund and Lazio in the knock-out stages.
