Elite international cricket tournaments will be added to DAZN Canada and its growing platform starting this month. A two-year agreement with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), West Indies Cricket Board (WICB) and Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), and a four-year agreement with the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) gives DAZN members access to tournaments hosted by these cricket boards LIVE and on-demand.
“Cricket is one of the most popular sports in the world,” said Joseph Markowski, SVP Commercial & Partnerships, DAZN. “We’re thrilled to be able to offer elite international cricket to the many fans within Canada’s multicultural and Commonwealth expat communities.”
DAZN Canada’s two-year agreement with PCB, WICB and SLC entails broadcasting all three boards’ Twenty-20, Test cricket, and One Day International matches.
The four-year agreement with ECB will bring 19 international matches, all England home matches, Country T20 competitions, Women’s T20 Leagues matches, and other ECB hosted matches and tournaments.
DAZN Canada’s cricket coverage began last month with England vs. Pakistan Test Match, which DAZN members can catch up on using the on demand feature. Future cricket content will be made available LIVE, on demand and in highlight form.
