ROYAL bride Meghan was the picture of radiance yesterday.
So how does she do it?
This week, we have a look at the foods and supplements she swears by.
We also try out the treatments that promise to give you a toned and firm body like Meg.
Health with Jane Atkinson
Meghan’s favourite breakfast is an “acai bowl” of the Vitamin C-rich, dark purple fruit which she mixes with almond milk, coconut flakes, manuka honey and bee pollen.
I tried Sambazon frozen acai berries in a smoothie. They have a lovely tang.
Protein shake – Shakeology
Meghan mixes blueberries into vanilla Clean Cleanse shake from the US.
A great alternative is Shakeology, which contains pomegranate and other superfoods. It is designed to support weight loss, muscle growth and digestive health. It energised me, filled me up and I lost 3lb in two weeks.
The herb favoured by Meghan is used in holistic medicine to treat stress and enhance libido.
Together’s supplements come in little resealable packages and are 100 per cent organic.
Beauty with Gabriella Stein
Budget – Crystal Clear Body Firm Complex
This body-firming gel promises to make skin smoother, firmer and younger looking.
The makers claim it infiltrates skin and increases microcirculation to lift and tone. This formula absorbed well.
It didn’t eliminate cellulite but my thighs felt firmer. Easy to incorporate into your daily routine.
Mid – Budget – Silk’n Lipo
At-home device worn like a belt around the target areas for 15- minute sessions.
Uses laser therapy and electric muscle stimulation (EMS) to stimulate disposal of fat and toning of muscles. There was tingling but no pain.
After nine weeks my stomach was 1.5cm smaller. Pricey, not a quick fix.
Luxury – ProMax Lipo
A 30-minute salon treatment promising inch loss, cellulite reduction and skin tightening. Ultrasound, radio frequency and vacuum massage move fat cells from problem areas.
Eight sessions recommended but I saw changes after three. Pricey but the best option.
