SUNDAY IN THE PARK has run some good races in defeat, with her best effort coming when second at Towcester last time out.
She liked this trip and the bit of cut in the ground there and is still improving.
She can get the better of Dancing Doug who showed some promise in a Fontwell bumper last time out.
REMEMBER FOREVER has dropped to the same mark that saw him win over course and distance this time last year. He didn’t run a bad race when third at Leicester last time and has had a nice break since that could do the trick.
Little Jimmy has been knocking on the door and with good runs at Chepstow and Sedgefield last time out. He’s down a little in the weights too.
NO HIDING PLACE went well when second in a military riders’ race at Sandown last time out and is just 2lb higher in the weights today. He finished with a lot left in the tank there so should show more under Nico De Boinville today.
Puppet Warrior likes this track and showed up well when fourth on his handicap debut at Newbury last time. There should be more to come.
LEO LUNA can be a little hit and miss but he went down in a bobbing finish at Fontwell last time. He likes it around here and this trip is ideal. The handicapper has left him alone so he has every chance if showing his true form.
Achille is the danger after coming back to form at Wincanton last time. He was second there in testing ground but has gone well in these slightly better conditions too.
KUBLAI came back from seven months off to run a solid fourth at Plumpton last time out. He had no problem staying the extended 2m4f there and this longer distance could help him. He went close at Stratford and Newton Abbot in similar races before his break.
Indian Reel won at Leicester three starts ago and was a close second at Huntingdon last time. He’s up 2lb for that but should be competitive again.
MR MUDDLE hasn’t been in the best of form but he’s a different horse around here as he showed when a close second before Christmas on his latest visit. This trip is ideal and he has tumbled down the weights which gives him a chance.
Show’s Over went down in a close finish at Taunton last time when he boxed on well. He looks the main threat.
VOYAGE DE RETOUR makes his debut here for Nicky Henderson and, with the stable in great form, looks the one to beat. He’s an Irish point-to-point winner and should know his job.
Of those with experience, Irish Odyssey won easily enough on debut at Fontwell last time and could defy his penalty.
