Hate waking up with a sore neck? Some hotels offer a pillow menu.
When you hear the words “hotel perks”, what springs to mind? Free wi-fi, welcome drink on arrival, airport transfers?.. Sure, everyone knows about those.
But how about a pillow menu? Or borrowing a Rolls Royce for an afternoon appointment?
Chances are you probably haven’t heard of half the things that many hotels have on offer to make your stay comfortable…
Hate waking up with a sore neck? Some hotels offer a pillow menu. These usually offer a range of pillows so you can match your own at home. Next time you’re checking in, simply ask at the front desk.
Something you probably definitely haven’t heard of – super-soft, full-body pillows. You won’t typically find these in your room but, if you ask on arrival, some hotels will have them stowed away for special requests.
If you’re staying in a luxury hotel, it’s likely there will be a car available to transport you where you’d like to go – sometimes for free. Some even have luxury cars, like a Rolls Royce or Tesla.
Love a bit of Netflix? A new fav perk of mine – some hotels allow you access to their internet-connected TVs so you can log into your account and watch whatever you want. Ideal after a long day venturing.
Also ideal after a long day – headphones and earplugs. You don’t necessarily have to pop out to the nearest convenience store for these two necessities. Many hotels have them at the front desk and won’t charge you extra. It doesn’t hurt to ask.
