The incident happened just before 11am on the northbound section of the M25, near the M11 turn-off. Major queues are forming in the area with traffic being stuck in the Darford Tunnels. Police are urging drivers to avoid the area after the crash, thought to involve a lorry and a low-loader van, saw an air ambulance land.

“Any traffic intending to travel through to junction 26 and beyond will have to go up to junction 7 or down to junction 4 of the M11 & return to rejoin the M25 at junction 6 of the M11. This road is expected to be closed for a number of hours so the area should be avoided.”
