Overhanging tree near Wye causes train disruption

Rail passengers will be forced onto replacement buses this afternoon as emergency work is carried out on an overhanging tree.

Network Rail will start work to remove the branches near Wye from 1.45pm.

It means passengers travelling between Ashford and Ramsgate via Canterbury will face disruption.

The work is expected to be finished at about 3.30pm.
