“Mohamed Salah scored against Bournemouth on Saturday, and Harry Kane drew a blank for Tottenham against Manchester City”
There is less than a month to go of the 2017/18 Premier League season, and Mohamed Salah is looking good in his bid to land the golden boot.
Despite Harry Kane being awarded a goal last week that was initially given to Christian Eriksen, despite replays appearing to show the striker did not touch it, it is the Liverpool winger who is out in front.
Salah scored yet again against Bournemouth on Saturday, and Kane drew a blank for Tottenham against Manchester City, but the Spurs man will be in action again tonight against Brighton.
Kane has won the award for top scorer in both the last two seasons, while the only other previous winner still playing in the league – Sergio Aguero – is down in third place this time around, but unlikely to play again this campaign due to injury.
Brighton forward Glenn Murray is the surprise name in the top 10, and he joins players from Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester – plus some of Kane and Salah’s club-mates.
